🤎 Jefe — The Mule
With his sleek chocolate coat and calm presence, Jefe the mule watches over the land like a true guardian. He’s gentle and grounded, the kind of soul who’ll quietly walk up for a scratch behind the ears or simply stand near, offering peaceful companionship. Guests often describe him as regal, wise, and a little mysterious.
🧇Waffles — The Outgoing Mini Donkey
Waffles is a crowd favorite — a spotted mini donkey with a playful heart and curious spirit. She’ll often trot over to greet guests and nuzzle for treats. Waffles is known for his expressive eyes, photogenic poses, and comical antics that delight both kids and adults.
🐓 The Chickens — Feathered Fun with a Side of Eggs
Our flock of chickens adds a lively, farm-fresh charm to the retreat. These girls love being spoiled with treats (provided by the coop). Guests are welcome to visit the coop, feed the flock, and even collect fresh eggs in the morning — a favorite activity for little ones (and early risers with coffee!). Be sure and wash the eggs before use. They are in the side smaller door at the coop.
Whether you're hand-feeding Waffles, collecting eggs from the coop, or simply watching Jefe soak in the sunset, these animals are here to remind you to slow down and savor the moment.
Come as strangers, leave with hoofed and feathered friends. 🐾

HOUSE LIMITATIONS
1) While we love when our guests celebrate special occasions, this property does not operate as a venue and we do not permit events. This property is the perfect home base for families, family reunions, business travelers, responsible bachelor/bachelorette groups, and those looking to getaway for some R&R. Disruptive party groups are not permitted.
2) Outdoor amenities can be utilized from 8AM to 12 AM.
3) No loud music is permitted throughout your stay (you can’t see them but we do have neighbors).
4) No pets allowed.**
5) No fires allowed outside of the propane fire pit.
6) Do not swim in pond - the eco system is being set up with fish
7) No unregistered guests without previous approval
8) The horse barn and apartment are off limits but feel free to take professional photos using the barn as the backdrop. Great for wedding and/family pictures.
**Guests with animal allergies, please note that while guests are NOT allowed to bring pets, the property owner occasionally stays in the home with their dog.
9) We do have animals on the property that need tending to. The owner or someone that works there will be there sporadically taking care of them.
THINGS TO NOTE
1) After booking, guests must sign our Rental Agreement in order to confirm the reservation.
2) This property is located on 10 rural acres. Guests should expect to encounter bugs and snakes though regular professional pest service is conducted.
3) The owner may be onsite during your stay to tend to the animals. Feel free to give the chickens treats from the clear bin provided near the coup!
4) Security cameras are installed on the exterior of the property.
5) The pool can be heated to 84º for an extra charge of $225 for the first day and $150 each day after (plus tax).

What People are Saying…….
Let me start by saying this might be the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in. Our group of 9 guys rented this property for a friend’s 50th bday weekend. Plenty of room and very comfortable. The main house is well designed - big, open common areas, large bedrooms with comfortable beds, and well stocked with everything you can think of. The party barn was great! Huge TV and seating area, full bar setup, pool table, air hockey, arcade games, poker table - really fun. There’s also a loft and bedroom with full bathroom. The weather was too cold to swim, but the pool looks amazing and can’t wait to come back here again in the summer. The views from every window are stunning. I can’t say enough good things about how much we all loved the house and just kept saying, “this place is incredible” to each other all weekend. The host was also super responsive. I’d give a 6th star if I could.—March 2025
